Monkey Time

Monkey Time
Bandhavgarh National Park, India, 1996
I lost several tiger visits because monkeys came in on afternoons when I had loaded a roll of 36 exposures in the camera. It doesn’t take long for a troupe of monkeys to use up a roll of film.

This would leave the camera impotent until my assistant, Roy Toft, would check the camera a week later. Finally we figured this out and had the trailmaster disable the camera during the monkey time.
